På sin Facebook-side skriver Boris Chatalbashev, at han med hjælp af Dansk Skak Union er blevet dansk FIDE-medlem.
Som begrundelse for skiftet, fortæller Boris:
The transfer is already a fact, from now on I shall represent Denmark. Being four-times Bulgarian Champion – surely not the most patriotic thing to do…But as our federation was excluded from FIDE and all the problems with ratings etc. – I definitely feel it’s the right decision. And I am very, very grateful to Danish Chess Union and all my friends there for making me feel welcome!
